Laser hair removal is a popular professional laser treatment that helps patients achieve their hair reduction goals quickly and safely. Laser hair removal can remove unwanted hair from virtually anywhere on the body. From treating smaller areas on the face to larger body areas, we can customize a treatment plan that meets your needs. The most common treatment areas include the arms, legs, back, chest, underarms, bikini area, and face.
To maximize your results, six to eight sessions may be necessary. That way, we can ensure optimal results and the highest reduction in hair growth in the designated treatment area.

Laser Hair Removal offers a safe and effective solution for virtually all skin tones and textures, whether you want to target specific areas or enjoy the freedom of no longer needing to shave
Book your consult todayLasers deliver concentrated pulses of energy to hair follicles, converting light into heat. This process targets and damages the chromophores, effectively reducing and inhibiting future hair growth
By reducing irritation and the risk of ingrown hairs often associated with other hair removal methods, professional laser hair removal promotes smoother, healthier-looking skin.
Laser hair removal offers a more comfortable experience for many people than waxing and less skin irritation than shaving. The sensation is often described as a light snap with each pulse of the laser, but this is a tolerable option for most patients.

Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least 2 weeks before treatment.
Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily on the treatment area.
Shave the treatment area 24 hours prior to your appointment. Avoid waxing, plucking, or threading for at least 4-6 weeks, as the hair follicle must be intact for the laser to target it.
Stop using retinoids, glycolic acids, or other exfoliating products on the treatment area for at least 5 days before your session.
Refrain from using creams, lotions, deodorants, or makeup on the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
Inform your provider of any medications or medical conditions, especially if you’re taking photosensitizing medications or have a history of cold sores.
The treatment area will be cleansed, and if needed, a topical numbing cream may be applied for comfort.
A handheld laser device will deliver pulses of laser energy to the treatment area. This energy is absorbed by the hair follicles, disabling their ability to grow.
Some devices use cooling technology to minimize discomfort.
Most patients describe the sensation as a mild stinging or snapping, similar to a rubber band against the skin. The discomfort is typically brief and tolerable.
The treatment time varies depending on the size of the area, ranging from 15 minutes for smaller areas (e.g., underarms) to 60 minutes for larger areas (e.g., legs or back).
Protect the treated area with sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks post-treatment.
Apply a gentle moisturizer or aloe vera gel to the treated area to alleviate redness or sensitivity.
Refrain from hot showers, saunas, swimming pools, or vigorous exercise for 24-48 hours after treatment.
Do not remove hair from the root in between sessions. Shaving is allowed if needed.
Treated hairs will gradually shed over the next 1-2 weeks. Avoid scrubbing or exfoliating the area until the skin has fully healed.
Do not use retinoids, exfoliants, or other harsh skincare products on the treated area for 5-7 days.
After the first session, you’ll notice a reduction in hair growth, with treated hairs becoming finer and lighter.
With a full series of treatments, most patients achieve significant, long-lasting hair reduction in the treated area.
Occasional maintenance sessions may be needed to address new or dormant hair follicles.
Individual results vary.
A series of 6-8 treatments is typically needed, spaced 4-6 weeks apart for facial areas and 6-8 weeks apart for body areas.
Maintenance sessions can be scheduled every 6-12 months, depending on your hair growth cycle and individual needs.
