Your Treatment Journey

What to expect

From the moment you walk through our doors to the days and weeks following your visit, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. Explore what to expect before, during, and after your treatment, including anticipated results and recommended treatment frequency—so you can feel confident, prepared, and excited for your transformation.

Before Your Treatment

Avoid active products for 3–5 days:

No retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin, adapalene)

No strong exfoliating acids or at-home peels

Limit sun exposure and avoid tanning beds for at least 1 week prior.

Pause certain treatments:

No waxing or aggressive scrubs on the treatment area for 3–5 days before.

Let your provider know if you’ve had recent laser, microneedling, or injectables.

Medications & skin history

Inform your provider about any active breakouts, cold sores, or new medications (especially Accutane/isotretinoin in the last 6–12 months).

Arrive with clean skin if possible (no heavy makeup; light skincare only).

New patients: Your visit will include a consultation so your provider can confirm that Diamond Glow is appropriate and customize your treatment.

During Your Treatment

Typical appointment time: ~45–60 minutes

Consultation & Skin Assessment
Your provider will review your skin, concerns, and goals, then select the diamond tip and serum(s) tailored to your needs (clarifying, brightening, hydrating, anti-aging, etc.).

Cleanse & Prep
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepped for treatment.

Diamond Glow Treatment

A diamond-tipped wand is passed over the skin in smooth, even strokes.

Gentle suction removes debris, oil, and dead skin while simultaneously infusing professional-grade serums into the freshly exfoliated skin.

Most patients describe it as a deep, gratifying clean with a mild scratchy feeling in some areas.

Targeted Finishing Products
Your provider will apply calming, hydrating, and protective medical-grade skincare (and mineral SPF) to lock in results.

You can return to normal activities right away—this is a no-downtime treatment for most skin types.

After Your Treatment

Immediately after, you can expect:

Skin that feels clean, smooth, and hydrated

A fresh, dewy glow and more even tone

Mild temporary redness or sensitivity in some areas (usually resolves within a few hours)

For the first 24–72 hours:

Do:

Keep skin hydrated with gentle, non-irritating products.

Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and avoid intentional sun exposure.

Avoid:

Retinoids, strong acids, scrubs, or at-home devices for ~3–5 days.

Saunas, hot yoga, or very hot showers the first 24 hours if skin feels sensitive.

Picking or scratching at any areas that feel dry or lightly flaky.

Makeup can usually be applied the next day, but most patients love their post-treatment glow and opt for minimal coverage.

Expected Results

Right away (same day – 1 week):

Skin looks brighter, smoother, and more hydrated

Makeup applies more evenly and pores appear more refined

Congestion and rough patches are visibly improved

With a series of treatments:

Improved tone and texture

Reduced appearance of fine lines and superficial pigment

Fewer clogged pores and less congestion

Overall healthier, more resilient skin

Treatment Frequency

For general skin maintenance: every 4–6 weeks

For specific concerns (congestion, dullness, mild pigment): a series of 3–6 treatments, spaced ~4 weeks apart, is often recommended.

Your provider will personalize a plan based on your skin, other treatments (like lasers or microneedling), and your goals.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What is Diamond Glow and how is it different from a regular facial?

Diamond Glow uses a diamond-tipped wand with controlled suction to exfoliate, extract, and infuse professional-grade serums in one step. Unlike a traditional facial that works mostly at the surface, Diamond Glow delivers active ingredients into freshly treated skin, giving more noticeable, longer-lasting results.

Is Diamond Glow safe for all skin types?

Diamond Glow is suitable for most skin types, including dry, oily, combination, and mildly sensitive skin. Your provider will adjust the diamond tip and serums to your needs. If you have active cystic acne, certain medical skin conditions, or very reactive skin, we may recommend an alternative or prep your skin first.

Does Diamond Glow hurt or cause downtime?

Most people find Diamond Glow comfortable and satisfying, describing it as a deep clean with a mild scratching or suction sensation. You may have light redness afterward that fades within a few hours. Generally, there is no downtime, and you can return to work or social plans the same day.

How soon will I see results and how long do they last?

You’ll see immediate improvement in glow, smoothness, and clarity after one session. Results typically last 1–2+ weeks from a single treatment. With regular sessions every 4–6 weeks, you’ll see more cumulative improvements in texture, tone, and congestion.
